Alex Preston (born 1979) is an award-winning English novelist and journalist. He is the author of five novels, including This Bleeding City, The Revelations, In Love and War, Winchelsea, and A Stranger in Corfu, as well as the nature-writing book As Kingfishers Catch Fire. He writes and reviews for publications including The New York Times, The Economist, the Financial Times, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Observer, and co-founded the Corfu Literary Festival.
