Martin Scott is the pseudonym of Scottish author Martin Millar, who was born in Glasgow and has lived in London for many years. Millar began publishing novels in 1987 and writes the Thraxas series as Martin Scott; the first Thraxas novel won the 2000 World Fantasy Award for Best Novel. Under his own name, he has also written fantasy, magical-realist, and speculative novels including The Good Fairies of New York, Lonely Werewolf Girl, and Supercute Futures.
