Ed McDonald is a British fantasy author whose debut novel, Blackwing, launched the Raven’s Mark trilogy, followed by Ravencry and Crowfall. He later wrote The Redwinter Chronicles, beginning with Daughter of Redwinter and concluding with Witch Queen of Redwinter. He studied ancient and medieval history, and his interests in history, tabletop role-playing, and historical European martial arts inform his writing.
