Elle Marr is an author of psychological thrillers centered on AAPI characters and family secrets. Her debut novel, The Missing Sister, was published in April 2020, followed by Lies We Bury, Strangers We Know, The Family Bones, The Alone Time, Your Dark Secrets, and The Lie She Wears. Originally from Sacramento, she studied at UC San Diego and the Sorbonne and lives in Oregon with her family.
