Brom, the professional name of Gerald Brom, began his career as a commercial illustrator before becoming known for his work on Dungeons & Dragons and other fantasy role-playing worlds. He later moved into writing and illustrating novels, producing award-winning books such as The Child Thief, Krampus the Yule Lord, Lost Gods, Slewfoot, and Evil in Me. His fiction combines richly illustrated storytelling with dark, monstrous, and supernatural themes.
