Jennifer Blake is the pseudonym of American author Patricia Maxwell, a New York Times bestselling writer who has published more than 75 books and anthology contributions over a career spanning more than five decades. She is best known for historical and contemporary romances, especially stories rooted in the history and culture of Louisiana, and has also written mystery suspense and mainstream fiction. A charter member of Romance Writers of America, she has received numerous honors, including the RWA Golden Treasure Award for lifetime achievement.
