Christophe Galfard is a French scientific author and science communicator who earned a Ph.D. in theoretical physics at Cambridge under Stephen Hawking. He began writing with the children's science book George’s Secret Key to the Universe, co-authored with Stephen and Lucy Hawking, and later wrote the young-adult Prince of Clouds trilogy and internationally translated popular-science books including The Universe in Your Hand and This Is Life.
