Aruni Kashyap is an Assamese and English-language writer, translator, poet, and academic from Assam, India. He is the author of the novels The House With a Thousand Stories and How to Date a Fanatic, the story collections His Father’s Disease and The Way You Want to Be Loved, and the poetry collection There Is No Good Time for Bad News. He is also an associate professor of English and creative writing and directs the Creative Writing Program at the University of Georgia.
