Steven Sherrill is an American novelist and poet whose writing blends literary fiction with myth, dark humor, and an outsider sensibility. He holds an M.F.A. in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and his poems and stories have appeared in publications including Best American Poetry, Kenyon Review, and Georgia Review. He is the author of several novels, including The Minotaur Takes a Cigarette Break, Visits from the Drowned Girl, and The Locktender’s House.
