She is the author of My Tokyo Summer, Tough Love: High School Confidential, Dolltopia, Cool Japan Guide, Cool Tokyo Guide, Uniquely Japan, and the Kitty Sweet Tooth series. Her work has received International Manga, Moonbeam Children’s Book, and IPPY awards, and she has written for properties including Spider-Man, The Powerpuff Girls, The Simpsons, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Josie and the Pussycats.
