Elyssa Friedland is a USA Today bestselling author of six novels and a children’s picture book. A Yale and Columbia Law School graduate, she worked as a law-firm associate before becoming a full-time writer. Her work has appeared in publications including The Washington Post, McSweeney’s, POPSUGAR, Real Simple, Writer’s Digest, and Bustle, and she teaches contemporary novel writing at Yale.
