Sophie Gonzales is an Australian young adult author from Whyalla, South Australia, who writes queer contemporary fiction with humor, heart, and memorable characters. Her books include Only Mostly Devastated, Perfect on Paper, If This Gets Out, Never Ever Getting Back Together, The Perfect Guy Doesn't Exist, and Nobody in Particular. She graduated from the University of Adelaide and lives in Adelaide, where she also works as a psychologist.
