Paul Draker is an American novelist known for tightly plotted, gritty modern thrillers combining mystery, psychological suspense, and frequent elements of science fiction and horror. His published novels include the survival thriller New Year Island and the techno-thriller Pyramid Lake. Before and alongside writing, he worked in aerospace and defense—including projects for DARPA—and led Silicon Valley technology and video-game ventures, experiences that contribute technical authenticity to his fiction.
