Mark Lewisohn is an English writer, researcher, historian, and biographer best known for his extensive books on the Beatles. He began publishing Beatles reference works with The Beatles Live! in 1986, followed by The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions and The Complete Beatles Chronicle. His major ongoing project is The Beatles: All These Years, a comprehensive biography whose first volume, Tune In, was published in 2013; he has also written biographies such as Funny, Peculiar: The Life of Benny Hill.
