Mike Reiss is an American comedy writer, producer, and author best known for his long-running work on The Simpsons, where he served as a writer, producer, and showrunner and won four Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award. He co-created The Critic, wrote for other television and film projects, and has published numerous children’s books, plays, and the memoir Springfield Confidential, about his career writing for The Simpsons.
