Jack Cohen (1933–2019) was a British reproductive biologist and science writer who collaborated extensively with mathematician Ian Stewart and fantasy author Terry Pratchett. He co-wrote popular-science books, science-fiction novels including Wheelers and Heaven, and the bestselling Science of Discworld series, which combines humorous Discworld stories with explanations of real science. Cohen also advised science-fiction writers on scientifically plausible alien life and ecosystems.
