She earned an MFA in creative writing from Fairfield University in 2011 and published her first novella, Beware the Hawk, in 2012, followed by The Eagle & The Arrow in 2013. Her writing also includes short fiction, essays, journalism, and the humorous mixed-genre collection A Perfect Facebook Life.
