Gerda Weissmann Klein (1924–2022) was a Polish-born American writer and Holocaust survivor. She published her memoir All But My Life in 1957, chronicling her persecution, forced labor, and survival during the Holocaust; the book later inspired the Oscar-winning documentary One Survivor Remembers. She also co-edited The Hours After, a collection of wartime letters, and spent decades writing and speaking about Holocaust remembrance, tolerance, and human rights.
