Clare Marchant is a British author of dual-timeline historical fiction. After earning a degree in history and an MA in women’s studies, she worked for many years as an IT project manager before beginning her writing career full time. Her novels, often focused on Tudor and 17th-century mysteries and the overlooked stories of women, have been translated into multiple languages and include The Secrets of Saffron Hall, The Queen’s Spy, The Mapmaker’s Daughter, The House of the Witch, The Shadow on the Bridge, Daughter of the Tarot, and The Alchemist’s Secret.
