Graham Hancock is a British author and former journalist whose writing career began with books on international development, Africa, and foreign aid after work at publications including The Times, The Guardian, and The Economist. He became widely known for bestselling books such as The Sign and the Seal and Fingerprints of the Gods, which investigate lost civilizations, ancient history, mythology, and controversial archaeological theories. He has also written fiction, including the supernatural adventure War God trilogy and Entangled, while continuing to publish nonfiction on prehistory, consciousness, psychedelics, and human civilization.
