Liane Child is the thriller-writing pen name of Sarah Clarke, a London-based author who worked as a marketing copywriter for 15 years before studying novel writing at the Faber Academy. Clarke published her debut psychological thriller as Sarah Clarke in 2021 and launched the Liane Child name in 2025 with The Tradwife’s Secret, a social-media thriller inspired by the tradwife influencer phenomenon. Her second Liane Child thriller, Someone Just Followed You, follows the darker side of kidfluencer culture.
