Benjamin Moser is an American writer, translator, and editor best known for literary biographies and cultural criticism. He is the author of Why This World: A Biography of Clarice Lispector, Sontag: Her Life and Work, which won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Biography, and The Upside-Down World: Meetings with the Dutch Masters. He has also edited and translated major English editions of Clarice Lispector’s work.
