Douglas Hulick is an American fantasy writer and author of the Tales of the Kin series, including Among Thieves and Sworn in Steel. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in medieval history, has studied and taught European Historical Martial Arts, and drew on historical criminal jargon and medieval culture when developing his fiction.
