Alan Shipnuck is an American sportswriter and author specializing in professional golf. He began writing for Sports Illustrated as a 21-year-old intern in 1994, later becoming the magazine’s youngest staff writer, and spent more than two decades producing award-winning golf journalism and cover stories. He is the author of ten books, including Phil, LIV and Let Die, Rory, and Bud, Sweat & Tees.
