Annie Ward is an American novelist and screenwriter. She earned a BA in English literature and creative writing from UCLA and an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute, where she sold her first short screenplay. Her debut novel, The Making of June, was published in 2002 after she lived and worked in Bulgaria; she later wrote the psychological thrillers Beautiful Bad and The Lying Club, both published internationally.
