Annabel Abbs is a multi-award-winning English writer of fiction and nonfiction whose books have been published internationally in more than 30 languages. Her debut novel, The Joyce Girl, won the 2015 Impress Prize for New Writing and the Spotlight First Novel Award; she went on to write the historical novels Frieda and Miss Eliza’s English Kitchen, as well as narrative nonfiction including Windswept, Sleepless, and The Walking Cure. Her journalism has appeared in publications including The Guardian, The Observer, The Washington Post, The Telegraph, and The Irish Times.
