Danny McBride is an American writer, producer, actor, and comedian best known for creating and writing the HBO comedy series Eastbound & Down, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones. He also co-wrote and executive-produced the Halloween film trilogy and co-founded Rough House Pictures. Thrilling Tales of Modern Men is his first short-story collection, exploring flawed modern men, fragile masculinity, and self-deception through darkly comic fiction.
