Herta Feely is an award-winning writer, editor, and writing coach based in Washington, DC. She is the author of the suspenseful women’s-fiction novels Saving Phoebe Murrow (2016) and Strange Shape of Love (2025), and her short stories, memoirs, and essays have appeared in literary journals and anthologies. Her writing has received fellowships and awards, including the James Jones First Novel Fellowship and an American Independent Writers award.
