Joseph A. McCullough is an American writer and award-winning tabletop game designer based in Kent, England. He began writing for games as co-author of The Grey Mountains supplement for the Middle-Earth Role-Playing Game, later working for Osprey Publishing in editorial and game development. He is best known as the creator of the Frostgrave family of fantasy skirmish games, Stargrave, Oathmark, The Silver Bayonet, and numerous books including The Story of Santa Claus, Dragonslayers, Steampunk Soldiers, and Zombies.
