Adam Higginbotham is a British journalist and narrative nonfiction writer, born in Somerset in 1968. He began his career in London magazines and newspapers, serving as editor-in-chief of The Face and as a U.S. correspondent for The Sunday Telegraph Magazine, and has since written for The New Yorker, Wired, Smithsonian, and The New York Times Magazine. He is the author of the bestselling histories Midnight in Chernobyl and Challenger, as well as A Thousand Pounds of Dynamite.
