Marshall B. Rosenberg (1934–2015) was an American clinical psychologist, mediator, and author who developed Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a method for empathetic communication and conflict resolution. He founded the Center for Nonviolent Communication in 1984 and authored fifteen books, including the bestselling Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life, Speaking Peace, and other works on relationships, education, anger, social change, and peacebuilding.
