Shomari Wills is a writer and journalist whose debut book, Black Fortunes, explores the lives of six early African American millionaires and their impact on American business and history. He studied English at Morehouse College and journalism at Columbia University, where he was a Lynton Book Writing Fellow. His journalism career has included work with CNN and Good Morning America, where he was part of an Emmy-winning production team.
