Rachel Khong is an American writer and editor based in Los Angeles. She was the managing and executive editor of Lucky Peach magazine from 2011 to 2016 before publishing her debut novel, Goodbye, Vitamin, which won the 2017 California Book Award for First Fiction. Her second novel, Real Americans, became a New York Times bestseller, and her fiction and stories often explore family, identity, race, memory, and loss.
