Ava Dellaira is an American novelist and screenwriter who graduated from the University of Chicago and earned an MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was a Truman Capote Fellow. She worked as an associate producer on Stephen Chbosky’s film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower before writing her debut novel, Love Letters to the Dead. She has since published In Search of Us and the adult literary novel Exposure.
