Ben Coes is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of international espionage thrillers. He launched his writing career with Power Down in 2010 and is best known for the Dewey Andreas series, which includes Coup d’État, The Last Refuge, Eye for an Eye, Independence Day, First Strike, Trap the Devil, Bloody Sunday, and The Island, as well as the Rob Tacoma novel The Russian. A Columbia College graduate and winner of the Bennett Cerf Memorial Prize, Coes previously worked as a White House speechwriter before becoming a novelist.
