Angie Cruz is a Dominican-American novelist, editor, and educator. She began her writing career with Soledad (2001) and Let It Rain Coffee (2005), followed by the acclaimed novels Dominicana (2019) and How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water (2022), as well as the picture book Angélica and la Güira (2024). She is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the literary journal Aster(ix) and teaches creative writing at Columbia University.
