Charles W. Sasser has worked as a full-time freelance writer, journalist, and photographer since 1979, publishing more than 30 books and novels, including military histories, adventure books, thrillers, and fiction. A U.S. Navy journalist and former Army Special Forces Green Beret and combat correspondent, he has written or co-written acclaimed titles such as One Shot—One Kill, Hill 488, and Six. His writing also draws on his experience as a police homicide detective, world traveler, and adventurer.
