Michael G. Williams is a queer Appalachian author who writes horror, urban fantasy, and science fiction featuring monsters, macabre humor, and unconventional outsiders. He is the author of The Withrow Chronicles, the science-fiction noir Autumn series, and the time-travel urban-fantasy Servant/Sovereign series, and won the 2020 Manly Wade Wellman Award for A Fall in Autumn. He also writes short fiction, contributes to tabletop role-playing game development, and cohosts the Arcane Carolinas podcast.
