Dmitry Glukhovsky is a Russian-Israeli novelist, screenwriter, and journalist best known for the Metro series. He first published Metro 2033 online in 2002 before its print release in 2005; the novel’s success led to Metro 2034, Metro 2035, video games, and other adaptations. He has also written standalone fiction including Futu.re, Text, and The Outpost, while continuing to work in journalism and political nonfiction.
