Dan Smith is a British author who writes adventure stories and thrillers for younger readers, as well as suspense novels for adults. He grew up in several countries, published his first story in the anthology Matter 4 in 2004, and signed a two-book deal with Orion Publishing Group in 2008. He lives in Newcastle with his family.
