Laura Bates is a British feminist writer, journalist, and founder of the Everyday Sexism Project. Her writing career began with Everyday Sexism in 2014, followed by bestselling nonfiction including Girl Up, Misogynation, Men Who Hate Women, Fix the System, Not the Women, and The New Age of Sexism. She also writes young adult fiction, including The Burning and the feminist Arthurian fantasy novels Sisters of Sword and Shadow and Sisters of Fire and Fury.
