Elle Owens is the thriller pen name of romance author Jaqueline Snowe. Raised in central Illinois and now based in Arizona, she began writing suspense after discovering Nancy Drew and David Baldacci, drawing on her technology career to blend everyday fears with modern tech. Her debut as Elle Owens, Tell Me You Trust Me, was published by Thomas & Mercer in 2025; she also writes award-winning sports romances under the Snowe name.
