Ottessa Moshfegh is an American fiction writer whose short stories have appeared in The Paris Review, Vice, and The New Yorker. She debuted with the novella McGlue in 2014, followed by the acclaimed novel Eileen, which won the PEN/Hemingway Award and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Her subsequent novels My Year of Rest and Relaxation, Death in Her Hands, and Lapvona became New York Times bestsellers, alongside the story collection Homesick for Another World.
