Carol Anderson is an American historian, educator, and author who serves as the Charles Howard Candler Professor and Chair of African American Studies at Emory University. Her books examine race, civil rights, voting rights, American history, and constitutional inequality, including White Rage, One Person, No Vote, The Second, Eyes Off the Prize, and Bourgeois Radicals. White Rage became a New York Times bestseller and won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism.
