Kyle Kirrin is a speculative-fiction author best known for The Ripple System, a LitRPG series that began with Shadeslinger. Before publishing novels, Kirrin sold short fiction to magazines including Fireside and Beneath Ceaseless Skies and won first place in the 2019 Writers of the Future contest. After years of working as a snowboard instructor and in other unusual jobs, Kirrin began writing full time following Shadeslinger's publication.
