Colin Winnette is an American novelist, short-story writer, and poet from Denton, Texas, now based in San Francisco. He began publishing fiction with Revelation in 2011 and has since written novels including Haints Stay, The Job of the Wasp, and Users, a 2024 Pen/Faulkner Award finalist. His work has appeared in publications such as McSweeney’s, AGNI, BOMB, Playboy, and The Believer, and has received recognition from the NOS Book Contest, the Donald Barthelme Prize, and other literary awards.
