Beatrice Salvioni (born 1995 in Monza, Italy) studied modern philology at the Catholic University of Milan and graduated from Turin’s Scuola Holden writing school. She won the 2021 Italo Calvino Prize for unpublished short stories before publishing her acclaimed debut novel, La Malnata, in 2023; her subsequent novels include La Malacarne (2024).
