Gareth Rubin is a British journalist and Sunday Times bestselling author who writes about social affairs, travel and the arts for British newspapers. His fiction includes the alternate-history thriller Liberation Square, the World War II spy thriller The Winter Agent, the structurally experimental mysteries The Turnglass and The Waterfall, and the authorized Sherlock Holmes pastiche Holmes and Moriarty. He studied English literature at the University of St Andrews and trained at East 15 Acting School.
