Matt Carter is a pastor, author, and speaker who serves as Pastor of Preaching and Vision at The Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, Texas. He has co-authored books on church mission, Christian living, biblical exposition, and historical fiction, including For the City, Steal Away Home, and Exalting Jesus in John. He holds an M.Div. from Southwestern Seminary and a doctorate in expositional preaching from Southeastern Seminary.
