G. Wayne Miller is an American author, journalist, and filmmaker who began his writing career as a newspaper reporter and spent more than four decades as a staff writer for The Providence Journal. He has written novels and short-story collections, primarily in horror and related speculative genres, as well as narrative nonfiction on medicine, business, history, automobiles, psychology, and public affairs. He has also written and co-produced documentaries broadcast on PBS.
